Global Business
In the contemporary global business environment, it is imperative for all stakeholders to obtain a deep knowledge of the rules underpinning the operations of a global enterprise. A number of extremely important issues face global businesses, such as globalization, international labor, human rights, the role of the World Bank and the W.T.O., crosscultural issues, and many others. This module has been developed to enable all those involved in global operations to gain a critical appreciation of the global business context and make effective decisions for the companies they work for.

- Identifying the relationship between the Entrepreneur and Awareness, Customers, Human Resources, Knowledge, Products, Progress Management, Relationships, Skills, the Strategic Plan and Time.
Knowledge Management
On successful completion of the module, the student will able to:
- Appreciate the value of corporate knowledge management.
- Appreciate how Organizations use information to construct meaning, create knowledge, and make decisions.
- Gain an understanding of the forces driving KM emergence, basic KM terminology, trends, authors, theories, practices, technologies, and, the experts who developed them.
- Perform a corporate KM culture print and provide consultation to yield significant improvement.
- Articulate how KM initiatives might be started and the role(s) of knowledge workers in such initiatives.
- Understand the application of specific technologies in the KM environment including e-learning technologies.
- Contribute to the development of learning organizations.
- Develop an awareness of intellectual assets and techniques to measure them.
- Learn the evolution of Knowledge Enabled Customer Relationship Management (KCRM)
- Understand aspects of organizational change management
Managing Innovation and Change
This module aims to equip participants with the knowledge to understand and the skills to manage innovation at the operational and strategic levels. The module integrates the management of market, technological and organizational change to improve the competitiveness and effectiveness of the firm. Upon successful completion of this module, the student should be able to:
- Develop a critical appreciation of the basic concepts of technology and in ovation impact and change management.
- Make sound business decisions in the context of how innovation can improve productivity and enhance organizational change.
